Public Library Access Card

Patrons with a home library card may purchase a PLAC (Public Library Access Card) to acquire a card at any public library in Indiana. The current PLAC fee is $65 and is valid for one year from date of purchase. *Limitations on borrowing materials may apply at some libraries.

Non-Resident Cards

Libraries are a pre-paid service through taxes. Center and West Township residents pay a library tax for service. People living outside of these townships are welcome to join our library for service, but will need to help pay for the support of the library as well.

If you live in North or Polk Township, limited township funds are available to help residents obtain a PPL Non-Resident Card, since library taxes are not collected in North or Polk township.

North Township

North Township residents can obtain a Non-Resident Card by paying ½ of the cost of one Non-Resident Card per household (Non-Resident Cards are $100.00/yr) which is prepaid by the township trustee (*limited funds are available on a first come, first served basis). Additional members of the household will need to pay the full Non-Resident Card fee.

Polk Township

Polk Township residents can obtain one Non-Resident Card per household (Non-Resident Cards are $100.00/yr) which is pre-paid by the township trustee (*limited funds are available on a first come, first served basis). Additional members of the household will need to pay the full Non-Resident Card fee.

Students and Teachers

Any student attending, or teacher employed, in a Center or West Township school (Plymouth Community Schools, Grace Baptist, etc.) is eligible for a FREE library card. No matter where the student/teacher lives, if they attend or are employed at a school in our service area, they are eligible for a free Plymouth Public Library card.
