Tech Time @ the Life Enrichment Center

Marshall County Council on Aging offers many opportunities to the community! Join us at the Life Enrichment Center for help with your device issues!

Creating with Color

Water color instructor, Marge, will lead us in learning how to paint outdoors…on the patio of the library!

Experience the Magic with Mr. Jim!

Mr. Jim will mystify the children with an outdoor magical adventure! This family show will delight all ages. The children will follow along as Mr. Jim inspires their imaginations to move through the brush to check out plant and animal life. They may even catch a creature!

Mr. Jim is a national school presenter, educator, and author. He has reached millions of students from several countries across the world with presentations that incorporate life skills and character developing information. His use of visual aids (illusions and/or multi-media) makes his messages memorable.

Intro to Beekeeping

Emily Tarnow will be leading this program! We will learn about these busy bees, see the beekeeping gear and more!

Tales from the Trail Storytime

Join your Library Trail Guide on a story time adventure about ponds and ducks. Kids will get to bedazzle their own rubber ducky and pet a real duck during this story time program.

Caturday!

In honor of Adopt-A-Cat Month we invite everyone to meowsy on into the library for a purrfect story & craft time with some cute kitties from the MCHS. We will also be taking supply donations for the cats at the Humane Society. Some items needed are: Cat food, Kitten Chow, kitten formula, kitty litter, cat toys, and monetary donations. Bringing in a donated item during this special story time will get patrons an extra ticket to put into a grand prize box.

EXPLORE-A-TRUCK EVENT!

We are so excited to be able to bring back the Explore-A-Truck Event from last summer! Join us at River Park Square and get close up to various vehicles. This year the Armory, City of Plymouth, Gary Cleveland (helicopter), Jeff Berg (antique tractor), PCSC, Fire Dept., Police Dept., Ozinga, Stone Excavating, Reichert & Knepp, R. Yoder, REMC, Park Dept., and more will be bringing their vehicles. We will also have a craft table, free popcorn, and lemonade! Rain or shine we will be there!

Hook ‘n Needle

Join us as we knit and crochet projects together! Periodically, we will have special kits/projects available for a small fee.

Silly Safaris

We are excited to have Silly Safaris back for this live, interactive animal show. Mr. Ryan the Lion will show and teach us about so many animals from SIlly Safaris. Bring a blanket or chair and come to Young’s Amphitheater for this exciting event!
